By downloading, installing, or using the "Watchly" application ("App"), you confirm that you have read and accept the following Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, you must not use the App.
1. Service Description
Watchly is a mobile application that lets you track movies and TV shows, create watch lists, follow your progress on an episode-by-episode basis, share reviews and ratings, and interact socially with other users. Movie and TV show content within the App is provided through the The Movie Database (TMDB) API.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
2. Account Creation
- To use the App, you must create an account.
- You must provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for the security of your account.
- Persons under the age of 13 may not create an account.
- One person may only open one account; fake or duplicate accounts may be blocked.
3. Watchly Premium (One-Time Purchase)
3.1 General Watchly Premium is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks additional features for the lifetime of your account. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charges. You pay once and retain access for as long as your Watchly account remains active.
3.2 Payment
- The purchase is processed exclusively through the Apple App Store.
- The charge is made to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation.
- There are no further charges after the one-time payment.
3.3 Restoring Purchases
- The App provides a "Restore Purchases" function in accordance with Apple's requirements.
- Restore Purchases will reinstate your Premium entitlement on a new device, provided you are signed in with the same Apple ID and the same Watchly account that originally made the purchase.
- If your Watchly account has been deleted, Restore Purchases will not reinstate Premium, even if the purchase exists on your Apple ID. In such cases, a new purchase is required.
3.4 Refunds
All refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. The developer cannot issue refunds.

3.5 Account Deletion and Premium
If you delete your Watchly account while holding a Premium entitlement, your Premium access will be permanently lost together with your account data. The developer is under no obligation to issue a refund in this scenario; any such request must be directed to Apple.
4. User Conduct
The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Posting illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, racist, or sexually explicit content
- Harassing or disturbing other users
- Sharing content that infringes copyright
- Sending spam or using automated tools
- Attempting to bypass the App's security mechanisms
- Impersonating another user
- Attempting to access Premium features without paying
Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or deleted without prior notice.
5. User-Generated Content
- You are solely responsible for the reviews, lists, and other content you share through the App.
- By sharing content, you grant the developer a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use such content for the purpose of providing the service.
- The developer reserves the right to remove content violating these rules without notice.
6. Intellectual Property
- The design, source code, logo, and trademark of the App belong to Yunus Emre Çağan.
- Movie and TV show posters, descriptions, and metadata belong to TMDB and the respective rights holders.
- No part of the App may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.
7. Service Availability
- The App is provided "as is"; uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.
- Temporary disruptions to content may occur due to TMDB API availability.
- The developer reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue the service, with or without prior notice.
8. Disclaimer of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- The accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of content sourced from TMDB is not guaranteed.
- The developer is not responsible for damages arising from communication between users or from user-generated content.
9. Apple App Store EULA Provisions
Because the App is downloaded from the Apple App Store, the following Apple requirements apply:
- These Terms of Use are entered into solely between the end user and the developer; Apple is not a party to this agreement.
- Apple is not responsible for the maintenance or support of the App.
- For any warranty matters that the App does not cover, the user must contact the developer directly.
- In the event of any third-party intellectual property claim regarding the App, the responsibility lies with the developer, not Apple.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and shall have the right to enforce these Terms against the user upon the user's acceptance.
- The user represents that they are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
10. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from within the App.
- The developer reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use.
- Upon account termination, Premium entitlements are lost and cannot be restored. Any refund must be requested from Apple.
11. Changes
These Terms of Use may be updated when necessary. For significant changes, users will be informed from within the App. Your continued use of the App after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices.
